Preschool ministry is for children ages 8 weeks till Kindergarten.

We offer age appropriate, learning opportunities for your children to learn about and grow closer to God. We make the Bible come alive! Your preschoolers will experience amazing hands on learning as we explore the Bible together. Our desire is to partner with parents to make sure our preschoolers know how much Jesus loves them and wants to be their friend forever! Each Sunday we will have a worship experience, games, crafts, and a Sunday School Lesson. A Parent Resource Table is also available to equip our parents as their children grow in Christ.

On Wednesday evenings, your preschooler will participate in a fun filled evening of Bible Stories and have the opportunity to memorize scripture!

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Your child is special to us here at SGBC. We believe that preschoolers are able to learn about Jesus, so we have set up their Bible Study classes to teach them in ways they learn best – HANDS ON!! We use Lifeway curriculum designed especially for each age group.

WORSHIP CARE

Worship Care is available during our Worship Service times.

During this time volunteers will love on and care for your children while you enjoy worshiping with adults.

What’s Happening

For Our First
Time Guests!

Welcome to Summer Grove Preschool Ministry!

The Preschool Ministry is located in the South Hallway, near Entrance #2, which is the entrance by the playground. Look for the Safari Park sign and the giant tree. This is the entrance used for all church activities.

On your first visit a volunteer will help you fill out a first time guest form.

After gathering all of the needed information, including allergies and special instructions, you and your child will be given identification stickers. These stickers are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will wear their sticker and the adult will hold onto their sticker until pick up. At pick up the adult will show the class volunteer the sticker and receive their child. If the sticker is misplaced or lost, please go to the preschool welcome desk to present identification for a new sicker. Our top priority is your child’s safety!

Parent Child Dedication

We offer Parent Child dedication throughout the year. We recognize that a child is a gift from God. Parent Child Dedication is an opportunity for parents to publicly and before God dedicate themselves to raise their children in a Godly Christian home. If you are interested in participating in this special service, please contact the Preschool Ministry office.

Preschool Playtimes

Throughout the year we will offer opportunities for special preschool playdates. We will open our gym, playground or even our movie theatre for families to spend time together and fellowship. Please follow our Facebook page for information.

Mommy Rooms

We have two rooms available for mothers who are nursing their children. Both rooms are located in the Preschool area. Changing tables and the necessities are also available for these rooms. WIFI is also available to live stream the service.

Nursery First Look

If you are new to Summer Grove and would like to have your own tour of the preschool area, please call to schedule a visit during the week. We would be happy to show you around our beautiful facility and answer any questions about Summer Grove that you may have.
