Summer Grove Baptist Church

Music has the unique ability to connect and unite the body of Christ in a way that nothing else can. From preschoolers all the way through our mature adults, we train our people to worship and lead others in worship using vocal and instrumental music as a tool. As we gather in one place and begin to offer up our worship through musical expression, something beautiful happens. The Spirit of God begins to soften hearts, heal broken-down relationships, and convict us of our great need for His presence and Lordship in our lives. Our goal is to experience the unmistakable glory of God in our worship.

Opportunities To Fit In The Worship Ministry

There are multiple channels of service that exist in the Worship Ministry! Most of them require absolutely no musical skill whatsoever! Here’s a brief overview of the different areas of service opportunities:

Wednesdays at 6:15-7:45pm in Choir Room (Directed by Jason Easley)

Praise Team
Wednesdays at 5:30 pm in the Choir Room

Worship Band
Wednesdays at 5:30 pm in the Choir Room

J.O.Y. Choir
Wednesdays 9:45 - 11:00 am in Choir Room

Student Choir

Sundays at 6 pm in Choir Room

Children’s Choir

All Children’s Choirs meet in Kid’s Theater Saturday at 6pm
