I’m delighted that you have taken the time to visit the Women’s Ministry site of Summer Grove Baptist Church. 

Our Women’s Ministry exists to attract women, equip them to use the gifts God has given them and encourage them so that each woman will develop a deep relationship with God, His Word and one another through serving our church and our community.  You might ask, “Wow!  How do you do all of that?”

God has placed the ministry of women on my heart and I believe that he continually inspires our Women’s Ministry Leadership Team to organize events and Bible studies to draw us closer to Him and each other through fun, fellowship and service!!!  Check our web site frequently so that you can catch the latest Women’s Ministry events.

We love the Lord and want you to experience His grace and peace in your life.  We’d love for you to join us at Summer Grove where…it feels like home.

Fall Bible Studies

Sew Much More Ministry – Fellowship while you sew, quilt, knit or crochet. Bring your own project and equipment. We are providing space for your sewing machine. Come and work on a provided mission project. Thursdays, 9:00 am-2:00 pm. Room 1-W.

WMU – Women on Mission – Women who share a commitment to God’s global mission. Hear our missionary speakers and learn about our mission projects on the first Tuesday of every month at 10:00 am in Room 3-E. Contact June Brabham, 318-687-4833, for more information.
