EPIC, A NEW YOUNG ADULT OFFERING AT SUMMER GROVE, IS COMING MARCH 2!

BE A PART OF THE BIGGEST AND NEWEST MOVEMENT OF YOUNG ADULTS IN SHREVEPORT.  HERE ARE 12 QUESTIONS YOU PROBABLY WOULD ASK…

WHO IS EPIC FOR? 

Young Adults, career, single, married, or couples ages 20 to 33 (33 year olds that feel 20, act 20 but aren’t) whoever is ready to make an impact with their life and wants something a little different.  Basically everybody!

WHAT IS IT? 

A large group gathering taught by Pastor Greg Tonjes, relevant teaching each week, ops to get into smaller groups, hang with new people, build authentic relationships and go serve the community

WHERE DOES IT MEET? 

Summer Grove Church in Shreveport in the Banquet Hall by entrance 2 – just look for the big blue 2 on the outside of the building, go inside, look to your right and you will see the “epic” banner

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? 

Whatever you want!  Jeans, flip flops, t-shirt or if you spend more time you can deck yourself out!  Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

WHAT TIME? 

9:15 we start with live music

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST? 

Until 10:15 and then we all go to the “big” church service

WHAT ELSE? 

“PODS” are going to be our small groups that will meet everywhere; homes, Starbucks, gyms, businesses, parks – anywhere.  PODS will basically be a chance to learn more about God and do life together in a small group setting.

CAN I EAT THERE?

Yep, donuts, muffins and other stuff along with real Starbucks coffee!

DO I HAVE TO SPEAK TO ANYBODY? 

NO.  If you just want to hang and then leave that’s cool.  But we believe that you will want to jump in a be a part.

ANYTHING ELSE? 

We will be taking radical adventure trips, mission trips, serving the poor and the least fortunate and we will make an impact on the community.

WHAT DO I BRING? 

Yourself, a friend, if you have any, a Bible if you want.
