Mature Adults (55+)
Summer Grove’s older adults simply refuse to act their age and that’s okay. Known as the “Forerunners,” they invite you to join them where you’ll find instant friendships, great fellowships, and solid teaching from the Bible that is centered in the very presence of God.
Forerunners who are 55+ years believe that they are just getting started in life and that each one has a lot to offer. This group is committed to reaching out to our friends in the neighborhood, our city, and the Ark-La-Tex. Forerunners are continually looking for ways to be involved and serving to meet the needs of the church and our community.
Mission
Our mission is to encourage, utilize talents and strengthen our walk so we can do the same for those who come behind us. The “Forerunners” visit, pray, work when called upon and they see to it that needs and concerns are met.

- Forerunner Luncheon – Forerunner Luncheon’s – 2nd Wed of every month 11:30 AM Banquet Hall
- Sunday School Information – Begins at 9:00 AM. There are women’s and men’s classes to choose from.
- Thursdays – Activity Room Open – 10am – 2pm Room 1-S
- Joy Choir – 9:45 AM Wednesdays Choir Room
