Our Kid’s Ministries at Summer Grove want to partner with parents in their efforts to lay strong spiritual foundation in the lives of their children. It is our goal to help parents guide their child to the loving arms of Christ, so as they grow they will become more dependant on God. We are to teach our children how to love God with all of their heart, soul, and strength so that they become spiritual champions in life. We desire for each child (Infant through 5th grade) to:

• be in a safe environment
• learn about the Bible & how to apply it’s Truths to their daily lives.
• realize the importance of family
• make new friends through structured interaction

As a support to parents, we offer Kid’s Day Out and Christian Parenting magazines. We hope you will join us in the Pres/Child Ministry as we begin to build the foundation for a lifetime of loving Christ Jesus!

We’re taking extreme to the next level!!!

Winter Extreme Snow Party, Sunday, Feb. 28, 12:45 pm. Yep!! You heard right…it’s a real snow party. Our Winter Extreme Kid’s Worship theme ends soon and we want our 1st – 5th graders and their families to have some extreme fun! After we eat, we will meet at the grassy knoll where the kids will dive into 3 tons of real snow. A student choir fundraiser begins at 12 pm. Your family may purchase a spaghetti plate (spaghetti, bread, corn, tea, cookie): $7/adult, $5/children through 5th grade, or you may bring a sack lunch for your family.

Caution Cheesy Western Puns Ahead! - Yeehaw!

Wrangle up your youngin’s cuz we are turning Summer Grove into the rootin’ tootin’ Saddle Ridge Ranch! We’ll wrustle up some Bible study, games and loads of fun for ‘em! Come join us July 26-30, 2010! (Well we warned ya about the puns!)

Mom2Mom

Our group meets on the first and third Thursday each month from 9:30am - 11am.  During our meetings we eat & socialize with other moms and hear devotions that will bless our day. Please plan to join us and bring a friend. Childcare will be provided, children will have a great time doing crafts, singing songs and hanging out with friends in a loving, safe environment.  To register: email sgpreschool@summergrove.org.

Kid’s Night Out - March 12

Kid’s Night Out (newborn to 5th Grade) 6-9pm at Safari Park. $5 per child. Register in SS class on Sunday mornings.

Where do I take my children for Sunday School @ 9:00am?

Park on the South side of our building at Entrance 2 (Near Playground). Preschool children(birth thru Kindergarten) enter Safari Park thru the “Big Tree” at entrance 2.  Children 1st thru 5th grade come to center court and take a left to children’s hall.

Parents  check-in children and receive a Name & Security Tags (security tags are for children birth-2nd grade) then Volunteers will help you find their designated Sunday School classrooms.  After Sunday School, volunteers will help your children go to Kid’s Theater for Children’s Worship.

After worship, preschool children can be picked up in their classrooms in Safari Park after you present your security tag.  1st and 2nd graders can be picked up in the Kid’s Theatre after you present your security tag.  3rd thru 5th graders can be picked up in the “Back Lot” next to Kid’s Theatre.

Worship on Sunday mornings @ 10:30am in Safari Park!

Kid’s Worship (1st-5th Grade)

Sunday mornings it’s “Center Stage”, it’s about kids learning about worship,  Kid’s Theater at 10:30am. 

Wednesday (6:15 - 7:30pm)

Kaboom, Explosion and Fusion. We are having a “blast” on Wednesday nights.  Children ages 3 yrs-5th grade are invited to join us for high energy fun and games while we learn Scripture and Bible skills!

• KidsKare - Childcare provided for adults attending Wednesday night activities (birth - 1 year) in Safari Park
• KABOOM - 3 years to Kindergarten
