Our Kid’s Ministries at Summer Grove want to partner with parents in their efforts to lay strong spiritual foundation in the lives of their children. It is our goal to help parents guide their child to the loving arms of Christ, so as they grow they will become more dependant on God. We are to teach our children how to love God with all of their heart, soul, and strength so that they become spiritual champions in life. We desire for each child (Infant through 5th grade) to:

be in a safe environment
learn about the Bible
think of church as a safe place to be
realize the importance of family
make new friends through structured interation

As a support to parents, we offer Kid’s Day Out, Weekday Daycare, Christian Parenting magazines and Parenting seminars. We hope you will join us in the Preschool Ministry as we begin to build the foundation for a lifetime of loving Christ Jesus!

Upcoming Activities

Kids Night Out

Mexican Fiesta!/Make Your Own Supper! April 11 from 6-9:00pm. Cost is $5 a child and $10 max per family. It’s dinner and games for children (infants thru 5th graders). Sign-up deadline is Wednesday, April 9th. Register by calling Wanda in the Children’s Office at 683-6950 or e-mailing wanda@summergrove.org and please have this form filled out, and yes it can be turned in the night of the event as long as we know you are coming.

Sunday

Sunday School 9AM (Birth to 5th grade)
Worship Care 10:30 AM (Birth to 3 years)
Undersea Friends 10:30 AM (4-5 years)
Children’s Church at Kids @ the Grove Theatre 10:30AM

How to do Sunday School?

Parents will take children to their designated Sunday School classrooms. After Sunday School, with the direction of the teachers, the children go to Kid’s Theater for Kid’s Church worship. When Worship is over, parents will go to the Kid’s Theatre to retrieve their child/children. Go in door to right, exit door to the left.

Wednesday

Bible Drill 5:30pm (starting Aug. 29th)
Awana 6:30PM (starting Aug. 29th)
Undersea Friends 6pm - 8pm
Childcare provided for adults attending Wednesday night activities (birth - 3 years)
