GREAT SLOGANS

• “Fix it with ______, and fix it for good”
• “Have it Your way”
• “You’re in good hands”
• “Like a good neighbor…”

Recognize these?  Did you name the organization these slogans represent? Get all of them right, or did you have to guess at a couple? Here they are in order: Adidas, Nike, Home Depot, Olsham Foundation repair, Burger King, Allstate, State Farm.

I wonder…do people see us and have to wonder what our motto is?  As individuals?  As a corporate church body?  Food for thought. I saw this slogan on several billboards last week while driving in another town…get ready for it…. It’s catchy… JESUS. That’s it.  Big bold expensive billboards.  A church ad that you had to strain to see the church name in small print!

I hope and pray folks see us, individually and corporately, and see that we’re not pushing or promoting an institution, a class, an activity, or even a bible study, but that we are ALL about Jesus!
