Hey Everyone – wanted to let you know of 2 great Mission Opportunities for you and your family.

The Ark-La-Tex Crisis Pregnancy Center, a mission supported by SGBC, will be hosting their Walk/Fun Run for Life at the Louisiana Boardwalk Saturday, May 5th ● 8:30am. Registration-Walk starts at 9:00am. Pick up a sponsor form at the information table in the Belltower, Centercourt, or Church office. Also, if you’re looking for a vacation idea, think about Memphis FamilyFest - July 7-13, 2012. A Mission Involvement for the Family! Children should be 1^st grade or older. Types of Ministries: Light Construction/repairs, Servant Ministries, Evangelism, Elder Care, and Backyard Bible Clubs. Deadline to register: May 10. FamilyFest registration fees and packets are available through www.wmu.com/Ministries.

Parent(s) of seniors and their families are invited to participate in this meaningful milestone on Sunday April 29th, from 6 – 8pm in the Manna House. This is an opportunity for you to share a specific, personal blessing for your child as you prepare them to potentially leave your home and begin making major life decisions. The student ministry will prepare a steak dinner – the cost is $10 per person (senior student is free). We create a slideshow for this event for which you need to submit (3) digitial photos (a baby, childhood, and senior). Deadline is 4-9-12 but we will continue to take pictures as long as possible. Call Becca directly at 683-6951 or e-mail questions/pictures to becca@summergrove.org. We will also need specific graduation information from you.

High School Students & Adults Mission Trip to Lybrook, NM 6/13-20/12; Registration deadline June 10 – $50. Total cost is $250. We will partner with the NAMB to serve the Navajo Nation. We will attend Eagle Springs Baptist Church and worship with the church we will be building. The trip will be difficult and strenuous, but the rewards of pouring out your life for the safe of Christ are eternal.
