THE ST. LOUIS ARCH
Orin Smith
Well today started with a visit to a Sunday morning service at Windsor Crossing, a non denominational church. It was very contemporary and rocked the walls , the worship band knew there stuff and the Tech team made it all come to life with 3D projection and dim lighting. Next, the great parking lot ministry let us out of the parking lot b/c we took up 10 spaces with our charter bus (there first ever tour bus coming to visit)!! Then to St. Louis Arch in downtown. The arch is 633 ft. high and the tram getting up there was very VERY small. The weather has been very stormy and did not allow us to eat KFC outside the arch. We had to sit indian style on the floor of the Arch museum and eat our greasy chicken! Next off to 1st baptist church for St. Charles were we had a BLAST! We preformed for the church then the church youth choir preformed for us!! We were fed by the church (pizza) and got a chance to let loose our energy by playing basketball and learning to dance. Today is Loyd Paul DesLatte’s birthday was today so we surprised him with cake. And then we hit the sack. Ready for the next day to come. PRAY for us and for the weather to be kind to us and allow us to do what we came here to do SERVE OTHERS!
