     You are experiening a new step in how our Church is going to share the experiences of those who are sent out into the world to minister the Gospel. We are going to use this Blog to allow Missionaries to share what is happening to them and their partners on a daily and sometimes weekly basis. If you do not know what a Blog is, that’s ok, I am going to help you understand what it is and just how SGBC is going to use it. Blog is short for the term Web Log, it’s just those two words put together to form one. A Blog is a person or organizations way of sharing what has happened to them on a certain day or during a certain week. It’s basically a Journal that a person allows everybody to see on the Internet. What sets it apart from a written journal is that it can also include pictures, video or links to other websites.

     But how will be utilizing the Blog phenomenon to help minister the Gospel? The Missionaries will be able to share their stories, prayer requests and needs on a daily basis. So when a group or person has been sent out from our Church you can come here daily and as they post pictures and/or video you will be more involved in their experiences. It is an awesome oppurtunity for you to pray and give towards specific needs. In those ways we can be more actively involved in spreading the Gospel around the world. You and the rest of the world will be able to see how God effects poeple’s lives and answers prayers as the missionaries lives and journeys unfold before you. So come back often, and share with your friends and family.
